ej has worked with people&words in various capacities for over twenty years. They have studied: english literature, poetry, language, linguistics, discourse analysis, critical theory, contemplative traditions, mindfulness, and social work. They have a passion for connection and transformation, and a deep commitment to collective liberation. ej brings life experiences from multiple gray/mixed/hybrid identity spaces.

Among other places, their work has appeared in Blue Earth Review, Yellow Medicine Review, Jellyfish Review, Toe Good Poetry, Naugatuck River Review, The Silkworm, Future Earth Magazine, and The National Teaching & Learning Forum. ej has published two poetry chapbooks.

ej has served as editor of Naugatuck River Review, Silkworm Journal, Toe Good Poetry, and others.
